Sona's First Real Steps!
Just a few moments ago, Sona took her first few steps unaided. It was wonderful to watch as it was very spontaneous. Of course, now we have tried to re-enact it a few more times for the video camera. Success!! Here she is in action!!

This little girl has been taking steps with help from us and cruising along furniture, but this is the first time she has walked with her walker. Check it out!

11 months old and chillin'
Sona turned 11 months old a couple of days ago and she is livin' the high life. She loves attention, eating, sucking on socks, smiling, and sometimes terrorizing her brother. Here are some photos of her from this afternoon. The pink chair was a gift for her birth and she can just now sit in it!

Flashback to December and January trip to Caribbean and US
In December 2013, when you were just 9 months, we made the long journey to the Caribbean, specifically to Bonaire and Curacao. We spent the majority of the time in Bonaire in a little house with our very own beach. We all loved it - just not the mosquitoes at night. Lots of sun, wildlife (iguanas, flamingos, lizards of all sizes, hermit crabs, fish, etc), beauty, snorkeling, fun and relaxation. You and Ian were drenched in sunscreen and mosquito repellent the whole time, but that didn't matter! And, we even saw a double rainbow (see photo below). After sunny days in the Caribbean, we went to the US for Christmas. Opening presents and playing (or eating) the wrapping paper was one of your faves :-)
